DRI Pushes for House Passage of International Children with Disabilities Protection Act
The International Children with Disabilities Protection Act protects children with disabilities to live and grow up in a family and avoid being placed in an institution or orphanage. It is everything we've fought for over 30 years.
The bill passed the US Senate and has bi-partisan support in the House. But Representative Michael McCaul of Texas, Chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, is standing in the way of it becoming law. He needs to know that people in Texas care about children with disabilities.
Please call Chairman McCaul's District Office in Texas at 979-431-6480 or Washington DC at 202-226-8467 to ask for his support TODAY.
